Lottie Mac

Lottie Mac is an artist, curator, and facilitator dedicated to fostering creativity, collectivism, and meaningful engagement through the arts. Her interdisciplinary practice explores the intersections of language, identity, and materiality, while her curatorial work prioritizes care, mentorship, and community-driven exhibition-making.

With over six years of experience, Lottie has collaborated with more than 100 artists, curating process-driven, immersive, and socially engaged exhibitions that challenge rigid structures of production and presentation. Her projects, like Piecemeal, which re-examines what it means for an artwork to be "finished," or Divergence, which empowered young female artists while raising funds for Solace Women’s Aid, consistently explore the intersections of art, activism, and accessibility. Whether producing large-scale events like Permanent Temporary at London Design Week or research-driven exhibitions like Language and the Space In-Between, her work remains focused on fostering meaningful interactions between artists and audiences.

In May 2024, Lottie co-founded Space and Purpose, a business transforming vacant spaces across London into thriving creative hubs. She has also collaborated with organizations such as the London Design Festival, Victoria and Albert Museum, Hauser & Wirth, Nike, and charities like Choose Love and Artists in Transit. In 2023, she launched the Modes of Making Podcast, where she interviews creatives from diverse fields, offering listeners an inside look into their processes and practices.
